Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard, lovely gardens and walking trails, Emeritus at Stow is a brand new assisted living and Alzheimer's community in the Greater Akron area. Located close to State Route 8 and Route 91 and situated on the Cuyahoga Valley Towpath, our community offers 81 apartments on two floors. Here our residents – in many cases, with their pets – enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our warm and caring staff, we also offer complete assisted living services, tailor-made to your needs. Our services focus on wellness to help you maintain or improve your health, so you can live as independently as possible.

Our community also offers an innovative memory care program, Join Their Journey®, for seniors affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia. Because your family’s experience will be unlike any other, our goal is to get to know you and your loved one, so that we can offer support and solutions for your individual situation. We “join the journey” of your loved one by recognizing individuality, encouraging choices and allowing residents the dignity to live in a secure, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.
