At McKnight Terrace Senior Wellness Community (McKnight Terrace), we offer our senior citizens an active lifestyle that is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. From organized activities to onsite health screenings, McKnight Terrace is an inviting place to call home.

McKnight Terrace was created with the belief that seniors can truly thrive when they can be active and maintain their independence. Our community is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood, helping residents quickly feel at home. We offer our residents a private dining room, comfortable TV lounges, a therapeutic spa, a beauty and barber shop, and countless other amenities. Pets are welcome at McKnight Terrace, and transportation is available for residents as well.

Each McKnight Terrace apartment suite is private with its own bath and shower, kitchenette, individually controlled heat and air-conditioning, cable television services, and a 24-hour emergency response system. We offer our residents three home-style meals each day, weekly housekeeping and linen service, and complete apartment maintenance, ensuring that residents enjoy more of life’s little pleasures. McKnight Terrace also offers respite care or short-term stays in both our Assisted Living suites and in The Terrace, which specifically caters to the needs of those residents with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Rehabilitation and hospice services are also available to McKnight Terrace residents.

The quality of care and life at McKnight Terrace is exceptional thanks to a dedicated staff of caring professionals. Our philosophy at McKnight Terrace respects the dignity of each resident, and we strive to recognize the uniqueness of each individual. Our staff is happy to assist with dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living, as well as with medication assistance, appointment reminders, diabetes management, and incontinence management.

New residents receive a comprehensive assessment by our Health Services Director to determine the appropriate level of care and assistance. If a resident’s health or mobility changes in the future, his or her care can be adapted right away. McKnight Terrace’s high staff-to-resident ratio allows us to readily recognize and respond to our residents’ changing needs. Our licensed nursing professionals are onsite 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
